Clipper/xHarbour Programmer

Our company, Action Systems, Inc. (ASI) is looking for candidates for a Clipper/xHarbour Programmer position, preferably in the Metro DC area (US).

If you are not in the Metro DC area or reside outside the US, telecommuting is a possibility as long as you have a stable internet connection for VPN (i.e. DSL or better) and/or fast enough bandwidth (i.e. 1 mbps or better).

Also, good command of spoken and written English is a major PLUS.

POSITION:

ASI is currently seeking a database programmer with a minimum of 2 years experience programming in an Xbase dialect such as Dbase or Clipper, and 2 or more years experience writing Windows applications. Hard core Clipper heads and/or experience with xHarbour is especially welcome. Candidate must be a self starter with a strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and design. Experience with C++ and/or Windows API is a plus, but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
